The first step when replacing the left Engine Mount Bracket requires vehicle support through lift and left Catalytic Converter elimination. Start by putting a screw jack with wood block under the Oil Pan and remove the upper Engine Mount retaining nut as well as left Engine Mount Bracket retaining bolts while taking care to avoid bending or warping the Engine Mount heat shield. Next follow the steps for installing the new left Engine Mount Bracket along with its retaining bolts by tightening them to 60 nm (44 ft. Lbs.). You should install the upper Engine Mount retaining nut after which you should tighten it to 80 nm (59 ft. Lbs.). To finish the task remove the screw jack while reinstalling the left Catalytic Converter then lower down the vehicle.
