How to replace the Seat Cushion Pad and trim cover on 2003 Cadillac Escalade?

The procedure for seat cushion trim cover and pad replacement starts underneath the cushion where front nuts need removal before moving on to front seat trim panel extraction. You should detach both the lumbar cable and the lumbar wire harness from power lumbar seats. The front passenger seat frame with its pressure sensor should be disassembled from its electrical connectors when it concerns the Inflatable Restraint Passenger Presence System. First detach the seat cushion from its rear plastic holders by pulling forwards and after that remove the seat switch bezel along with the lumbar actuator . Release the seat trim cover from the seat cushion frame before pulling away the seat cushion pad from the cushion while moving from side to side. The Inflatable Restraint Passenger Presence System needs replacement as a complete assembly for front passenger seat cushion replacement because its bladder, pressure sensor, seat cushion and control module work together after calibration.
