How to replace the wiper arm (LHD) on 2003 Cadillac Seville?

Set wiper arms in parked position then take off wiper nozzle hose from washer hose to change Wiper Arm (LHD). Take off the Wiper Arm from the drive shaft by removing the wiper nut and arm cover with j 39822 equipment. Pull the Wiper Blade off its mounting position on the Wiper Arm. Installation requires fitting the Wiper Blade to the Wiper Arm followed by preparing the wipers to park in their designated position since this setup requires the wiper system to be parked. To mount the Wiper Arm onto the wiper transmission slide shaft set it 3.32 inches from the driver side Wiper Blade to the bottom of the windshield and 3.33 inches for the passenger side. Scrub the wiper transmission drive shaft knurling with a wire brush prior to putting on the Wiper Arm nut. Use a torque wrench to tighten it to 30 n.m (22 lb ft) during installation. Place the cover on top of the nut then apply protection spray to the washer hose before attaching the wiper hose to the washer outlet. Test how well the washer system functions as part of the final check.
