How to replace the wiper arm (LHD) on 2002 Cadillac Seville?

Put the wipers in park position before disconnecting the wiper nozzle hose from its washer hose connector. After exposing the nut with its cover you may then detach both the Wiper Arm and the nut. Take off the Wiper Arm from the drive shaft using the j 39822 then pull the Wiper Blade off the Wiper Arm. Install the Wiper Blade first on the Wiper Arm when the park position allows you to avoid damaging the wiper system. Place the wipers in park position when they rest at mid-way. Apply a wire brush on the wiper transmission drive shaft knurls before installing the Wiper Arm. Keep the Wiper Blade 84.4 mm (3.32 in) away from the bottom windshield on the driver side and 84.6 mm (3.33 in) from the bottom windshield on the passenger side. Put the Wiper Arm nut into place and tighten it to 30 n.m (22 lb ft) while covering the nut. Use windshield washer solvent to apply lubricant on the washer hose before connecting it to the wiper nozzles. Check that the wiper washer system runs correctly during the last step.
