  A: First disconnect your wiper motor electrical connector carefully to stop possible safety dangers by staying clear of the crank arm assembly. Then put back the windshield wiper module cover before returning power to the system. Take out wiper motor bolts and lift wiper arms to a height of 153 to 204mm (6 to 8 inches) above their park position over the windshield before detaching the motor from its vehicle location. Attach the Wiper Transmission Separator part J 39232 between the wiper motor crank arm and transmission drive link. Take the wiper arms 153-204 mm (6-8 in) above the park position to the front of the windshield on the vehicle. Use the Wiper Transmission Installer tool (J 39529) to connect the transmission drive link with the wiper motor crank arm. Then bolt the wiper motor onto the vehicle with three bolts and torque them at 9 N.m (80 lb in). Plug the electric connection to the wiper motor then test if the washer system runs properly.
