Take off the three wiper motor bolts, and slide the arms of the wipers 153- 204 mm (6-8 in) up the windshield from the park position and pull the motor from the vehicle. Remove the wiper motor from the vehicle by disassembling the transmission drive link from the wiper motor crank arm using the Wiper Transmission Separator (J 39232). For installation again, move the wiper arms 153-204mm (6-8 in) up the windshield from the park position then attach the transmission drive link to the wiper motor crank arm by using the Wiper Transmission Installer (J 39529). Put the wiper motor at the plenum panel, apply the wiper motor bolts, and fasten them on 9 N.m (80 lb in). In the last step, plug in the electricity connector to the wiper motor and test the wiper washer system for operation.
