Adjust the wiper arms 153-204 mm (6-8 in) upward from park position before connecting the transmission drive link with wiper motor crank arm via the Wiper Transmission Installer (J 39529). Mount the wiper motor on the vehicle with its three screws until they reach 9 N.m (80 lb in) of torque and join the electrical connector to the motor.
