How to replace the wiper motor on 2001 Cadillac Seville?

Start replacement by disconnecting the wiper motor electric connector and removing its three screws. Pull the wiper motor ahead from the vehicle base as you move the wiper arms 153-204mm (6-8in) upward on the windshield above parking position. Did the transmission drive link connection between wiper motor crank arm and Wiper Transmission Separator (J39232) to release them. Adjust the wiper arms 153-204 mm (6-8 in) upward from park position before connecting the transmission drive link with wiper motor crank arm via the Wiper Transmission Installer (J 39529). Mount the wiper motor on the vehicle with its three screws until they reach 9 N.m (80 lb in) of torque and join the electrical connector to the motor.
