How to replace the Wiper Pivot (LHD) on Cadillac Seville?

The project requires two tools: wiper linkage separator (J 39232) and wiper linkage installer (J 39529). First remove Wiper Arm parts and screen before working on the transmission. You can disconnect the transmission drive link socket from the wiper motor crank arm using j39232 wiper linkage separator by rotating the transmission to remove it from the plenum. Take out six transmission screws to demont the unit from the vehicle. Place the transmission onto its installation position and use six screws to fasten it. Tighten the screws to 8 n.m (70 lb in). Insert the wiper linkage installer (J 39529) at the wiper motor crank arm ball to secure the transmission drive link socket. Reinstall both the air inlet screen and Wiper Arm components last.
