2003 Chevrolet Malibu Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to replace the Headlight Bulb or cornering, sidemarker, park, and turn signal bulbs on 2003 Chevrolet Malibu?
A: The first step to replace headlamp bulbs or cornering and sidemarker and park or turn signal bulbs involves opening the hood. When pulling upward on release tabs you can remove the headlamp by drawing it straight forward from the mount panel. Begin the process by disconnecting electric connectors from lamp sockets with caution due to the halogen bulb caution. Rotate each lamp socket toward the counterclockwise direction while pulling out its bulb from inside the socket. Workers should install the headlamps and parking lamps by pushing their bulbs into the metal sockets before turning the sockets to a clockwise position for final retention. Reconnect the electrical connectors to the lamp sockets before putting the headlamp into the headlamp mounting panel by pushing it in a direct forward direction. First maintain your grip on the headlamp as you press the tabs downward to check the aim before hood closure.
