How to Service and Repair the Throttle Cable on 2003 Chevrolet Malibu?

In order to change the throttle cable, disconnect the ignition and take the left instrument panel sound insulator away. Disconnect throttle cable on the accelerator pedal and remove shields. Record cable routing and mount the new cable making sure that it does not get in the way of any moving parts. Reassemble and check operation. Lastly install the sound insulator again.
