2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to service and repair the A/C Switch control assembly on 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?
A: Begin control assembly service by taking out the instrument panel trim plate bezel and next remove the retaining screws from the HVAC Control Module. Before fully extracting the module users should first disconnect the electrical connectors and vacuum connectors from its instrument panel position. Installation begins with connecting electrical connectors to vacuum connectors on the HVAC Control Module followed by module placement back into the instrument panel before screw installation with 1.8 n.m (16 lb in) torque. Put the instrument panel trim plate bezel back into place.
