    A: To replace the accumulator, they need to recover the refrigerant and take off the air cleaner assembly. Detach the suction hose nut at the accumulator and detach the suction hose, then detach the a/c compressor hose nut and remove a/c compressor hose from the accumulator. Then, undo the accumulate bracket bolt and extract the accumulator. In the case of replacing the accumulator, add refrigerant oil into it, install a new accumulator, and fasten it to the bracket bolt that is tightened to 4 n.m (36 lb in). Install new o-ring seals to the a/c compressor hose and to the suction hose and connect the hose a/c compressor to the accumulator and tighten the hose nut to 16 n.m (12 lb ft). Connect the suction hose to the accumulator, and tighten the suction hose nut to 47 n.m (35 lb ft). Installation of the air cleaner assembly is followed by evacuation and recharging of the a/c system. Finally, conduct a leakage test on the component fitting with the help of the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A).
