    A: To service and repair the accumulator hvac, first, recover the refrigerant. Then, take away the air cleaner assemblage; next, eliminate the suction hose nut from the accumulator, place the suction hose aside. Next, take off the a/c compressor nose nut from the accumulator and place the a/c compressor nose in a safe place. Go on and uninstall the accumulator bracket bolt, followed by the accumulator. For installation, the accumulator has to be installed first, then the accumulator bracket bolt needs to be tightened to 4 n.m(36 lb in). Mount new o-ring seals on a/c compressor hose and on the suction hose, and attach the a/c compressor hose to the accumulator, securing it using a/c compressor hose, fastened using a torque of 16 n.m (12 lb ft). Attach the suction hose to the accumulator and ahighly tighten the suction hose nut up to150 n.mur (47 N.m) (35 lb ft). Reinstall the air cleaner assembly, and then evacuate and recharge the ac system. Finally, on the fittings of the component, carry out a test using the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A).
