    To remove the control assembly (C60), start by pulling out the i/p trim plate, and the front floor console if available. Next, remove the retaining bolts from the hvac control assembly and pull the control assembly out from the instrument panel. Remove the hvac control assembly by disconnecting the electrical connectors and the vacuum connectors from its attachment point. Install electrical connectors as well as the vacuum connectors on the hvac control assembly and reinstall it on the instrument panel. Make sure you install the retaining bolts to keep the hvac control assembly in place as you tighten them up to 1.8 n.m (16 lb in). Lastly, reinstall i/p trim plate, front floor console if available.
