How to replace the Trunk Lock Cylinder in the rear compartment lid on 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

In order to change the lock cylinder used in the lid of the rear compartment of Monte Carlo, open the rear compartment and take out the lock cylinder retainer. Unscrew the lock cylinder and the gasket. Position lock cylinder and gasket, and press in place with the same shaft as in lock cylinder. Lastly, clean the retainer and close the compartment.
