How to replace the Brake Light Switch on 2003 Chevrolet SSR?

You need to first remove the retaining clip from the brake pedal pin before taking the brake switch off from the same spot. Unplug the stop lamp switch electrical connector and take out the brake switch from the vehicle. Connect the electrical connector to the vehicle brake switch at its proper location. Unfasten the brake switch from brake pedal pin and slide it onto its position on the brake pedal pin.
