  A: You need to use these tools for servicing and repairing the valve guide seal and valve spring: the tools you will need include the Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794) and valve spring compressor (J 38606). Take off the valve Rocker Arm at the start, then loosen the Spark Plug wire by twisting the boot 1/2 turn and pulling it off with only your hand. It is important that the engine is at room temperature before you loosen the Spark Plug 1 or 2 turns and then clean away any dirt or debris with a brush or compressor before taking out the plug. First, fit the Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794) into the hole, then connect an air hose and use compressed air to keep the valves in position. Use the valve spring compressor (J 38606) to squeeze the valve spring, then grab the valve stem keys (225) and slowly relax the valve spring tension before you take off the compressor. After that, take out the valve spring cap (224) and valve spring (223), and then remove the valve guide seal and shim (222). Once you have cleaned the cylinder head valve spring seat or shim area, put in the valve guide seal and shim (222), then install the valve spring (223) and valve spring cap (224). Use the valve spring compressor (J 38606) to compress the valve spring and put the valve keys on, greased and pushed into the groove on the valve stem to seat properly. As you let go of the valve spring pressure, watch that the valve keys do not move, then take off the compressor and gently tap the valve stem end with a plastic hammer if the keys are not fully seated. After that, take out the Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794), screw the Spark Plug in by hand, tighten it to 15 nm (11 ft. Lbs.), reconnect the Spark Plug Wires to the ignition coil, look to make sure they are in place, and mount the valve Rocker Arm again.
