  A: Draining coolant from the cooling system should be the first step to replace the oil cooler outlet line. Pry off the right engine mount strut bracket oil cooler pipe bracket bolt then disconnect the upper oil cooler outlet hose from the thermostat bypass pipe. First lift the vehicle before you remove the lower oil cooler outlet hose from the cooler while disconnecting it. Then take out the outlet hose assemblies and pipe from the oil cooler. Remove the upper or lower oil cooler outlet hose(s) from the oil cooler pipe as the next step. The installation process begins with the oil cooler outlet hose(s) installation onto the oil cooler pipe which must be followed by the installation of the oil cooler outlet hoses along with the pipe. To finish installation connect the lower oil cooler outlet hose to the cooler component while the vehicle is in its lower position before connecting the upper hose to the thermostat bypass pipe. Pass the oil cooler pipe bracket bolt through the right engine mount strut bracket where it will join with the oil cooler pipe bracket. Then tighten the bolt to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). Add engine coolant to the cooling system while checking for necessary engine oil addition and performing a leak test on the oil cooler.
