The replacement procedure for the right Engine Mount and bracket starts with disconnecting the battery negative cable. The j 41240 fan clutch remover and installer (J 41240) should be used for holding the Water Pump Pulley in place before the cooling fan hub nut gets removed from the water pump shaft. The MAP Sensor electrical connector and retainer must be detached first before moving on to the MAP Sensor. When removing the frame Engine Mount from service the technician should also extract the right shock module. Begin by removing the upper Engine Mount nuts from both right and left sides and continue by raising the vehicle for removal of the lower Engine Mount nuts. When replacing the jack on the Oil Pan you should avoid damaging the oil level sender so remove the mounting bolts of the engine protection shield. Change the vehicle's position to the lowest height while positioning a floor jack under the Oil Pan supported by a wooden block. Lift the engine slightly to expose the Engine Mount studs. Detach the right Engine Mount from its bracket before removing right Engine Mount Bracket fasteners and finally separating the mount bracket. The right frame Engine Mount Bracket requires removal when necessary by removing its bolts followed by removal of the bracket itself. The installer should first secure the right frame Engine Mount Bracket with bolts at 110 nm (81 ft. Lbs.) torque setting if it was removed. Install the right Engine Mount Bracket afterward securing it with bolts at 50 nm tightness then install the right Engine Mount. After lowering the engine to its position on the mounts install both upper Engine Mount nuts at 70 nm torque setting (52 ft. Lbs.) after raising the vehicle eliminate the floor jack and put on the engine protection shield which you should fasten with bolts tightened to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). The right and left lower Engine Mount nuts demand a torque of 70 nm (52 ft. Lbs.) before lowering the vehicle. After fixing the right shock module and MAP Sensor you should put on the MAP Sensor retainer and electrical connector. Now secure the cooling fan hub nut to the water pump shaft followed by tightening it to 56 nm (41 ft. Lbs.) using the j 41240 (J 41240) tool before reattaching the battery negative cable.
