You must start by taking out the left body side trim panel along with its electrical connector before proceeding with the replacement of the auxiliary A/C blower motor resistor. Begin by removing the screws holding the resistor to its case then detach the auxiliary A/C blower motor resistor assembly from the case. Place the auxiliary A/C blower motor resistor assembly inside the case and fasten it with screws applying 2 N.m (18 lb in) torque as per the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. To complete the process reconnect the electrical connector before replacing the left body side rear trim panel.
