    A: The replacement of the EVAPORATIVE EMISSION (EVAP) CANISTER PURGE SOLENOID VALVE starts with removal of the fuel injector sight shield. First disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve harness connector before you proceed to remove vacuum hoses and purge pipe from the EVAP canister purge valve. First flush the bracket's tab to detach the EVAP canister purge valve. Start EVAP canister purge valve installation by setting the valve on the canister bracket before connecting purge pipe and vacuum hose to the valve. Complete the installation by reattaching the harness connector of the EVAP canister purge valve followed by installation of the fuel injector sight shield.
