You should take off the fuel injector sight shield as the first step to replace the EVAP canister purge valves. After that, take off the harness connector from the EVAP canister purge valve and unhook both vacuum hoses as well as the purge pipe. Get rid of the bracket tab to slide out the valves. Put the new EVAP canister purge valves onto the canister bracket and attach the purge pipe and vacuum hose to them. Reconnect the wire plug and then put the fuel injector sight shield back in place.
