A: To replace the rear lower Control Arm, one should remove the rear suspension support assembly, then disconnect the automatic level control height sensor link from the left Control Arm, as well as the stabilizer shaft link. After that, remove the wheel bearing/hub, then the adjustment link retaining nut and the adjustment link from the lower Control Arm. Then unscrew the lower Control Arm mounting bolts as well as nuts then release off the lower Control Arm. For installation, install the lower Control Arm onto the rear suspension support assembly with the nuts tightened with the vehicle unsupported while resting on the wheels at normal trim height. Fasten the bottom Control Arm bolts and nuts; wheel bearing/hub; and make sure to follow the fastener notice in the service precautions. Reinstall the left side wheel bearing/hub, the stabilizer shaft link, and the automatic level control height sensor link on the left Control Arm, and then reinstall the rear suspension support assembly.
