  A: To replace the Cruise Control Module, first, remove the fuel injector site shield away. Next, pull the lock release and open up the cruise control cable from the engine bracket and Throttle Body. Pull out the cruise control cable and the connector from the module assembly connector , and disconnect the electrical connector from the module assembly. Removing the retaining nuts and the module from the mounting studs, remove the Cruise Control Module bracket bolts from the module bracket and the module . For installation, attach to the bracket the Cruise Control Module and tighten the bracket bolts tightening the fasteners to 7.5 n.m (66 lb in). Then, mount the Cruise Control Module onto the studs on the cowl , then install the 2 nuts installing the bracket retaining nuts 9 n.m (80 lb in). Connect the electrical connector on to the module and install the cruise control cable on to the module assembly connector without twisting the ribbon when attaching the cable. The cruise control cable is not mechanically adjustable once replaced because the Cruise Control Module automatically adjusts the cable. Lastly, attach the cruise control cable housing connector to the engine bracket and Throttle Body.
