The replacement process of the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) inlet pipe begins with raising the vehicle while using supports. Lower a car when you remove the EGR Valve inlet adapter pipe mounting bolt that connects to the Exhaust Manifold. First separate the EGR Valve and then take off the EGR Valve outlet pipe. It is next to remove EGR Valve inlet adapter pipe bolts (2,3) and the EGR Valve inlet adapter pipe . Begin installation by connecting the EGR Valve inlet adapter pipe and fasten it with the EGR Valve inlet adapter pipe bolts and studs (2,3) before torquing them to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Reposition the vehicle before you attach the EGR Valve inlet adapter pipe to the Exhaust Manifold with new bolt installation while tightening it to 30 n.m (22 lb in). Lower the car and proceed with EGR Valve outlet pipe installation just before installing the EGR Valve.
