    A: Start by removing the 14-way electrical connector from the Ignition Control Module (ICM) to service it. Before disconnecting the wires from coil assemblies it is important to note the initial wire placement. Begin by unlatching the icm nuts then slowly pull off the icm from the bracket. Start by taking out the Ignition Coil screws then separate the ignition coils from the icm . Secure ignition coils to icm by using Ignition Coil screws then apply 4.5 n.m (40 lb in) torque when tightening screws. Reinstall the icm onto the bracket before tightening the icm nuts to 10 n.m (89 lb in) torque specifications. Secure the Spark Plug Wires to their corresponding ignition coils before you install and tighten the 14-way electrical connector to the icm using 2.1 n.m (19 lb in) of force.
