How to replace the wiper arm on 2004 Buick Regal?

You can start replacing the Wiper Arm by turning the key to ignite and choosing delay mode followed by setting the key back to off while the wipers hold their positions at the bottom end. Remove the washer hose from the Wiper Arm followed by its nut cover and then the Wiper Arm nut. The Wiper Arm puller (J 39822) tool will remove the Wiper Arm from its wiper transmission position. Install both wiper arms onto their transmission with the correct positioning for the right arm at 97-107 mm (3.82-4.21 in) from end to air inlet screen. Position the left arm at 125-147 mm (4.92-5.78 in) tip to air inlet screen. Secure the Wiper Arm nut at 30 n.m and cover it before attaching the washer hose to its socket. Ensure the windshield wipers work correctly through normal operation.
