How to service and repair the auxiliary radiator fan motor on 2004 Cadillac CTS?

The transmission cooler quick disconnect (J44827) is used to remove auxiliary transmission cooler lines from the auxiliary cooler with the specific precaution of avoiding Radiator and Transmission Oil Cooler damage. The first step involves setting the auxiliary cooler lines aside while unfastening the auxiliary Radiator fan assembly bolts (1, 2) and their respective bolts located at the lower left and upper left corners to detach the unit from the vehicle body. Install the auxiliary fan assembly into the vehicle before tightening the lower bolts (1, 2) to 6.5 nm (58 inch lbs.). After bolting in the fan assembly using the same torque measure install the rest of the auxiliary Radiator fan bolts. Check that the auxiliary transaxle oil cooler line enters the cooler unit until it clicks into position and perform a gentle pull test to validate its secure clamping. After connecting the auxiliary fan electrical wiring, replace the air deflector while checking the transmission fluid amount.
