How to replace the afterboil water pump on 2004 Cadillac CTS?

To replace the afterboil coolant pump one should first drain out the coolant. Slide the hose clamp (J38185) down on the hose and remove the hose from afterboil coolant pump using Hose Clamp Pliers (J38185). Then slide the hose clamp back on the hose and disconnect the hose from the afterboil coolant pump. Next, remove the afterboil coolant pump bolts before taking out the afterboil coolant pump, and disconnect the afterboil coolant pump electrical connector from the afterboil coolant pump. With the fixings of the afterboil coolant pump bolts being tightened to the value of 10 Nm, (89 inch lbs.), you are ready for installation of the afterboil coolant pump and positioning thereof. Attach afterboil coolant pump electrical connector to afterboil coolant pump, then link hose to afterboil coolant pump. Attach the Hose Clamp Pliers (J38185) to sliding the hose clamp back to its original position on the hose, reconnecting the hose to the afterboil coolant pump and sliding the hose clamp back to its original position on the hose. Additionally, charge the cooling system with coolant.
