How to replace the Electric Cooling Fan Motor on 2003 Cadillac CTS?

The first step to change the electric cooling Fan Motor begins with cooling fan assembly removal. First detach the Fan Blade from the motor shaft by taking off the Fan Blade retaining nut from the motor. Completely remove the motor retaining screws before removing the motor from its shroud position. When installing the motor return it to the shroud while strictly following the fastener notice for safe handling. Secure the cooling Fan Motor through retaining screws by tightening them to 5 nm (44 inch lbs.). Chose the Fan Blade to connect to the motor shaft while slowly rotating it until successful drop-off then apply the retaining nut following a torque of 7 nm (62 inch lbs.). The last procedure involves readinstalling the cooling fan assembly.
