How to replace the thermostat housing on 2003 Cadillac CTS?

To replace the Thermostat housing you remove the coolant outlet pipe then remove the Intake Manifold. Next, loosen the Thermostat housing bolts and remove Thermostat Housing with the Thermostat from the engine, disposing of the seal ring. Unscrew the Thermostat and take it away from its housing. The Thermostat housing takes the Thermostat, have a new seal ring installed. Mount the Thermostat housing with the Thermostat on the engine and adhere to the fastener notice for installation purposes. Install the Thermostat housing bolts and tighten to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.). Lastly, refit the Intake Manifold and the coolant outlet pipe.
