2003 Cadillac CTS Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace a thermostat on 2003 Cadillac CTS?
A: The first step to Thermostat replacement involves removing the housing. First remove the Thermostat Housing before you can remove the Thermostat from the housing itself. Bend both sides of the Thermostat ears down while rotating it until it clears the retaining feature and let go of the pressure to pull it out of the housing. Begin the installation process by placing the Thermostat pin into the housing orifice while using both hands to depress the ears. Next rotate the Thermostat to align with the retaining feature then relax pressure before putting in the housing.
