How to replace the A/C Orifice Tube in a refrigerant system on 2004 Cadillac Seville?

Start the replacement of the A/C Orifice Tube by recovering the refrigerant from the system while also loosening the O-ring joint. Remove the A/C Orifice Tube when using the Dual O-Ring Tube Separator (J 38042) to unfasten the tubing halves. Apply 525 refrigerant oil on the O-ring for proper lubrication during installation of the new A/C Orifice Tube and O-ring joint connection. After oiling the dual O-ring joint you must tighten it to 24 N.m (18 lb ft) while setting the tube exactly where it started. The refrigerant recharging process should follow the leak testing of the component fittings using the Halogen Leak Detector (J 39400-A).
