How to replace the Air Inject Check Valve on Bank 1 on 2004 Cadillac Seville?

In order to install the alternative of the secondary air injection (AIR) shut-off valve on Bank 1, disconnect the electrical connector and take off the securing nut and intermediate hose. Unscrew the nuts and bolts that hold the valve and get rid of the gasket. Installation requires placement of the new valve using gaskets and tightening all connections. Lastly, rejoin electrical connector.
