How to replace the front coolant pipe inlet hose (LY7) on 2004 Cadillac SRX?

To replace the Radiator surge tank inlet hose (LY7) you would initially part-drain the cooling system. Use hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to take of the surge tank inlet hose from the surge tank, radiator and Throttle Body assembly. Pull off the hose from the vehicle then attach the new surge tank inlet hose to the Throttle Body and Radiator using the hose clamp pliers (J 38185). Make sure that the surge tank inlet hose is placed properly to the retaining feature of the air cleaner assembly and routed under the hood assist rod support. Finally, make use of hose clamp pliers (J 38185) for joining the surge tank inlet hose to the surge tank and fill the cooling system.
