You must use hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to reposition the engine vent hose clamp before extracting the engine vent hose from the surge tank . Use hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to adjust radiator vent hose clamps before pulling the radiator vent hose away from the surge tank. Unload the surge tank by first removing its radiator mounting bolt followed by complete removal of the surge tank itself. Install the surge tank in its proper position while tightening the surge tank mounting bolt to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). Secure the radiator vent hose onto the surge tank while using hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to reposition the radiator vent hose clamp. After installing the engine vent hose to the surge tank you must use the hose clamp pliers (J 38185) to reposition the engine vent hose clamp. Connect the surge tank outlet hose to the surge tank while using hose clamp pliers (J 38185) for hose clamp repositioning. To finish up install the low coolant sensor electrical connector to the retainer then attach the electrical connector and fill the cooling system through the radiator surge tank.
