First you need to set up the compartment lid hinge before working according to the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Use an 89-pound inch torque to fasten the hinge bolts at their rear window panel locations. Reinstall the trim and window panel behind the vehicle then install both torque rods and compartment lid in their proper places. After the job connect the wire harness roses to their locations on the hinge arm while making any required adjustments to the compartment lid as needed.
