  A: Before working on the wiper motor you should disconnect its electrical connector and remove the air inlet grille panel. Take out the wiper drive system module by unscrewing all the module screws at their normal locations. Install the Wiper Transmission Separator J 39232 to separate the wiper motor from its crank arm before unscrewing the wiper motor and pulling it out from the wiper drive system module. Place the new wiper motor onto the wiper drive system module and fasten the wiper motor screws by tightening them to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Keep the motor crank arm pivot lubricated while you join wiper transmission arms with the Wiper Transmission Installer J 39529 to the wiper motor crank arm. Reinstall the wiper drive system into its position and tighten the module screws at 10 N.m (89 lb in). Return the wiper motor electric connection before putting back the air inlet grille panel and testing the wipers to verify correct working.
