  A: First remove the passenger side carpet retainer then the center pillar lower trim panel by opening the passenger door. Detach the coaxial Antenna Cable from antenna extension lead and trim away the visible portion of the coaxial Antenna Cable . Pull back the carpet in the rear compartment to access the Antenna Base where you will disconnect the coaxial antenna lead and cut off the visible end of the coaxial Antenna Cable . Secure the antenna extension cable to the main wiring harness top by wrapping it with electrical tape at least every 150 mm (6 in) distance. Plug the coaxial antenna lead to the Antenna Base after repositioning your carpet and closing the rear compartment lid. Connect the antenna extension lead to the coaxial Antenna Cable then encase the main body harness and cable inside the carpet before installing the center panel and retainer before closing the door.
