How to replace the engine oil pressure switch on 2004 Chevrolet Corvette?

To restore the engine Oil Pressure Switch or change the switch, do the following: first, take out the Intake Manifold. Unplug the Oil Pressure Switch electrical connector and remember to clean the area surrounding the switch to avoid debris coming into the engine. Using the Oil Pressure Switch socket (J41712), pull out the Oil Pressure Switch from the engine block. Installing an old switch: use thread sealant gm U.S. P/N 12346004, canada P/N 10953480, or equivalent. Once more, use the Oil Pressure Switch socket (J41712) to mount the Oil Pressure Switch on the engine block, tightening it to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.). Finally reconnect the Oil Pressure Switch electrical connector and replace the Intake Manifold.
