How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 1 on 2004 Chevrolet Corvette?

Begin replacement of the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 1 by elevating the vehicle then unplug its electrical connector before removing the old sensor. Leadenly reverse the heated oxygen sensor. When installing a new sensor always apply special anti-seize compound (P/N 5613695) to the threads because it uses graphite suspended in fluid and glass beads; the graphite burns away while glass beads remain to help future removal. The graphite will burn after installation but the glass beads will stay inside the compound to help in future compound removal. Use anti-seize compound on sensor threads whenever the same sensor needs reinstallation. At the end of thread preparation apply the heated oxygen sensor while achieving a torque of 41 N.m (30 lb ft). After completing the procedure disconnect the vehicle and reinstall the HO2S electrical connector before lowering the vehicle.
