How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 2 on 2003 Chevrolet Corvette?

To remove the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 2, first lift the vehicle and unplug the HO2S electric connector. Backing out the heated oxygen sensor should be carried out with care. If one has to install a new sensor, it is very important to use special anti-seize compound (P/N 5613695), which is a graphite suspended in a fluid and glass beads; the graphite is burned up at the same time the glass beads are left behind, making next withdrawal easier. In case of reinstallation of the same sensor, make sure that you place the anti-seize compound on the thread. Make the heating oxygen sensor threads coated with anti-seize compound and put the sensor in, tightening to 41 N.m (30 lb ft). Lastly, plug the HO2S electrical connector back into the connector and raise the vehicle back.
