  A: Begin by using a suitable tool to remove the seat back recliner handle through pushing down the spring clip located under the handle while pulling the handle from its shaft. First disconnect and remove the screws holding the seat side trim panel and move the panel from side to side until the barrel post clip exits the seat frame. Then position the panel away from the seat. Start the installation by pulling out the switch harness after disconnecting it then taking out the switch itself. When installing the new switch you should place it on the side trim panel followed by attaching a new barrel clip to the trim panel upper barrel post before terminating the switch harness.
