The process starts with unfastening the three bolts between the rear door upper striker and the door opening frame before removing the striker . Position the rear door upper striker back into the door opening while you need to follow all fastener notices during installation. Fasten the striker with the three mounting bolts while securely tightening each one to 10 N.m (89 lb in). Reinstall the rear door opening frame garnish molding as the last step.
