  A: The process to replace a passenger compartment air filter starts by making the windshield wipers rise into position through a complete off cycle. Open the hood and eliminate the rear hood seal from its position. Remove the washer hose attached to the right air inlet grill panel while placing it aside for now. The right air inlet grill panel requires removal of its two push pin retainers but keep the third one in place. Move the left portion of the right air inlet grill panel towards the windshield before extracting the passenger compartment air filter. Position the new passenger compartment air filter first before installing the left side of the right air inlet grill panel. Reinstall the push pin retainers to the right air inlet grill panel while you reposition the washer hose through the right air inlet grill panel clips. Reinstall the rear hood seal then close the hood before moving the windshield wipers to park.
