How to replace the right Blend Door Actuator on 2004 Chevrolet Impala?

To replace the right air temperature actuator, you have to remove the right side I/P insulator and I/P compartment. Remove the O-ring from the top of the right temperature actuator. Then slowly pull the actuator out of the right door (Fig. 4 & 4A). Remove the right air temperature actuator from the HVAC module assembly. For installation, please place the right air temperature actuator and also align the slots at the driver of the electric actuator driver with the flats of a shaft that will be ensured by viewing that the locating hole will coincide with the alignment pin in the HVAC module case. Mount the actuator onto the shaft by sliding it onto the shaft until the actuator driver is flush and seated with the mounting screws on the HVAC module case. Mount the screws to the right air temperature actuator and fasten them up to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in). Reconnect the electrical connector to the right air temperature actuator then reinstall I/P compartment and the right side I/P insulator. Finally, calibrate the actuator.
