Chevrolet Impala Cabin Air Filter Parts Questions & Experts Answers
Q: How to Perform a Cabin Air Filter Replacement on Chevrolet Impala?
A: The windshield wipers must be positioned in the up position after turning off the ignition while they are at their desired location. Position the rear hood seal to half of its center area. You should extract the washer hose from the right panel of the air inlet grill and place it temporarily aside. Two push pin retainers should be removed from the right air inlet grill panel but retainers for the third position must stay in place. The left part of the right air inlet grill panel needs to be positioned on the windshield before the passenger compartment air filter and water deflector cover removal. The process begins by installing the passenger compartment air filter followed by the water deflector cover which should rest with its tabs attached to the rear cowl edge. Following the reinstallation of the air inlet grill panel apply the push pin retainers to secure it. Place the washer hose into its designated position under the right air inlet grill panel before fixing the rear hood seal. Close the hood before setting the windshield wipers to park position.
