How to replace the hood latch on 2004 Chevrolet Malibu?

In order to change the hood latch, unlock the hood and take out the fascia support at the top of the hood. Indicate the position of the latch, and then take off the latch bolts and release cable. Installation: aid the new latch, the cable and tighten the bolts. Adjust the hood when needed, re-fit the fascia support and close the hood.
