How to Replace the Alternator Bracket on a Generator on 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

First loosen the generator pivot bolt and remove the generator rear brace nut as well as the generator rear brace from the system. The installation process starts with generator rear brace attachment then moves to generator pivot bolt assembly and conclusion with generator rear brace nut. When installing the generator pivot bolt tighten it to 50 N.m (37 lb ft) and the generator rear brace nut to 25 N.m (18 lb ft) while following the specific torque sequence.
